LNS and BAPs

Hello,

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. And I know, you are all still waiting for pictures. This week I will be working on that for sure as there are many pictures I want to post.

As if I didn't already have enough stash, I made a trip to my LNS and bought some more BAPs. They are:

1. Glade Creek Grist Mill
2. Old Mill in October
3. Church in the Glen
4. On the Right Path
5. Love Song

These can be found at: www.shinysuncrossstitching.com

6. The Zodiac 1

Found at: www.heavenandearthdesigns.com

And I ordered about 5 more HAEDs. Real bad of me as I need to live 300 years 5 times over to make a dent.

The Discovery of Ink Circles

I have read some posts that mentioned Ink Circles. I must admit, I had never heard of them before. So of course I just had to look them up and check them out. Where have I been? They are so amazingly beautiful and I just have to add to my stash. I must thank all of the enablers out there. There are so many that I love for thier bright vibrant colours and interesting patterns. BTW I never heard of Carrie's threads before now either. So, here is where I need all of your help. I have narrowed my choice down to two (of now anyway). Please make a comment, leaving your vote and I will have my choice made for me. I will also pick a name for a give-away.

It has been a productive week, I actually managed to complete a little Christmas ornament. I love doing Christmas items. Hubby will finally be home on Monday so I will post a picture then. I also sorted out all of my stash, oh my word!! So many patterns and kits that I want to do. I think though that I really should start my grandson's birth announcement. I wonder if he will get it before his 5th birthday? As for the wips, I haven't decided what to tackle next. I have two HAED patterns with less then a page of each completed so I guess I should work on one of them.

Monday October 12, 2009

The start of a new adventure. Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian friends. Rather chilly here this morning so I am going to curl up for a while and work on my current Christmas project. A little ornament of a penguin carrying a candycane. I will attempt to learn how to post photos late.
